Flirting with Disaster Water

Fate asks, child what are you after
I see you always flirting with disaster
You've got peace and love and quiet at home
But you're burning bridges and cutting off your own

If I live on the outside of town
Ain't nobody close to ever let me down
When I miss everyone one, sure I'll come around
But on the way, I may stop and have a taste of fire water
I always play with fire and get sad after
I drink fire water and have myself a disaster

I always forgive the world first
No, not me, you see I'm the worst
Until I scrape away all my sins
Like burnt skin, and then I will be perfect again

Tomorrow's come and I've got new goals
And plus I never ever put out the coals
Another thing to tell you, my fate
By the pit always lays a brand new rake

When I live on the outside of town
Ain't nobody close to ever me down
When I miss everyone, sure I'll come around
But on the way, I may stop and have a taste of fire water
I always play with fire and get sad after
I drink fire water and have myself a disaster
I drank fire water and had myself a disaster
I drink fire water and have disasters
Let's drink fire water and have ourselves a disaster
